The stage is set and CHSq is now here, with some huge names set to bring the buzz to Belfast.
This year's gigs are once again taking place at Custom House Square and the line-up of acts is something to behold, with something to suit all musical tastes on the bill.

When is CHSq 2022?
The festival kicks off at Custom House Square with Madness on August 7 and finishes with Ryan McMullan on August 27.

Where can I get tickets for CHSq?
Tickets are on sale from Katys Bar at The Limelight and Ticketmaster (Belfast City Centre), www.ticketmaster.ie, www.belsonic.com and from all Ticketmaster outlets.

What are the age restrictions CHsq?
A number of different age restrictions apply for this years set of gigs so be sure to check carefully before attending.

These shows are over 16s events, however, under 16s can attend provided they are signed in with our Welfare Officers at the gates on the night and are accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian over the age of 25.
A parent or guardian can only sign in a MAX of 2 under 16s.
Sign-in is at the gates on the show day from 6pm.
If you are attending:
- Madness
- Stereophonics
These are over 16s events, however, those under 16 BUT OVER 12 can attend provided they are signed in with our Welfare Officers at the gates on the night and are accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian over the age of 25.
A parent or guardian can only sign in a MAX of 2 under 16s.
Sign in is at the gates on the show day from 6pm.
Ben Nicky is a strictly 16+ only event, ID is required for entry at the gates. There is no sign-in option for these shows.
What time do gates open?
Gates open at 6pm. Curfew is usually around 11pm but times will be posted on social media the day of the event.
Last entry at 9.45pm sharp.
How do I get to Custom House Square?
Organisers are advising that concert-goers use public transport when possible.
Custom House Square is in the heart of Belfast city centre and within walking distance from the main transport hubs.

Can I bring food and drink in with me?
No, food or drink not purchased on site cannot be taken into the venue, there will be searches in place. Please contact the Promoter directly should you require to bring food for medical reasons atinfo@customhousesquare.com.
Photo ID is required for sale of alcohol at event. Please note it is the concert goer’s responsibility to prove their age when requested. YOU MUST have ID to prove your age especially if you are deemed to not meet age policies for the event.
Some DO NOT points:
- Do not drink alcohol on board buses as it is illegal to do so. Enforcement and Seizure Operations will be in place at various locations on main roads to the venue & along pedestrian routes within the immediate vicinity of the venue. Offenders will be liable for £1000 fine.
- Do not bring alcohol, food, glass, cans, fireworks, flags, laser pens or pointers, spikes, studs or anything dangerous, umbrellas, poles, fold up or blow up chairs or garden furniture, professional audio or visual recording equipment – you will not be allowed in with any of these items and there are no lockers for storage. Prohibited items will be confiscated and disposed of accordingly
- Football or GAA tops will not be permitted on the concert site, so please don’t wear these to the event.
- Do not park illegally.
- Please follow signs to designated car parks.
- Do not buy tickets from unofficial sources.
- Do not rush the exits after the concerts.
- Do not crowd surf, mosh or partake in antisocial behaviour as you will be removed from the venue without refund and relevant authorities will be notified.
Is there parking at CHSq?
No, there is no designated parking on-site at CHSq. Organisers advise that concert-goers avail of public transport where possible.

Will there be security checks?
If you are attending CHSq please be advised of additional security measures for all events. The safety of guests is of paramount importance and an increased search regime will be in place.
Organisers would like to advise all guests to arrive at the venue in good time, as there will be enhanced personal searches on entry.
In order to allow easy access, and cause minimal delays, they would like to discourage all guests from bringing bags to the event, and no luggage or large electronic devices (for example laptop computers) will be permitted.
Small personal cameras will be permitted, though guests will not be able to bring professional photography equipment into the venue. Please note that you may also be asked to remove coats or jackets in the search queue.
