All of us have been guilty at some point of making far too much turkey to be eaten on Christmas Day.
Fortunately, you can store the leftover turkey in the fridge to keep for a short while, allowing it to be reused in a variety of delicious dishes.
However if you are reusing the meat remember not to keep it in your fridge for too long.
For those who choose to refrigerate their cooked leftovers, the NHS states it should ideally be used within a 48-hour period.
So following this advice you have just two days post-Christmas Day to gobble up all your turkey leftovers.
But turkey might not be the only thing leftover from your Christmas feast, however, so we made sure to compile some recipes that can accommodate all the trimmings from your leftover dinner.
We also ensured to add a variety of dishes that require different ingredients so you can pick and choose what to make depending on what you have available in the kitchen.

If you're unsure of what to make on Boxing Day or after, we have some neat recipes ahead...
Turkey Fajitas
Mexican fajitas are a quick and easy way to get rid of any leftover Christmas turkey. Simply grab some flour tortillas (or make them yourself if you're feeling adventurous) and reheat your turkey in a pan with some paprika, chilli, garlic, chopped onions, and green peppers.
Once fully heated, you can serve the turkey filling either inside the fajitas with some salsa, sour cream, or guacamole. For some extra zest, why not try adding a sprinkle of lime juice to your turkey?
Turkey Curry
A variety of curries can be made using leftover turkey, if you're feeling a bit lazy you can use premade curry sauce or make your own from scratch (making it yourself almost always tastes nicer). If you have some curry paste on hand you can heat it in the pan with some onions and peppers before adding in some chopped tomatoes.
Once you've got your sauce on a simmer throw in your turkey and cook it for roughly three minutes. You can serve turkey curry with either some rice or naan breads - for some extra flavour, try sprinkling fresh coriander on top.
Turkey and stuffing sandwiches
A very simple post-Christmas staple. Simply find your favourite bread and place some cold leftover turkey and stuffing inside to be enjoyed at any time of the day you like.
If you want to add some more depth to the sandwich, we recommend sprinkling some caramelised onions and cranberry sauce inside.
Turkey stir-fry
Stir-fry is an incredible volatile dish which can taste amazing with all sorts of ingredients. We recommended slicing up some onions, green peppers, carrots, spring onions, beansprouts, and red chilli (to taste).
You should first throw in your onions, garlic, and chilli to the pan for around two minutes before throwing in the beansprouts and frying for another minute. Once they seem sufficiently cooked, throw in your leftover turkey and wait until it's piping hot.
You can also throw in some soy sauce or lime juice to create some extra flavour.
Turkey pasta with cream sauce
The best part about this recipe is you can use whatever pasta you have available in the kitchen. Start by boiling your pasta and while your waiting you can get the sauce ready.
Simply melt 100g of butter in a saucepan and stir in 60g of flour. After this, mix in 700ml of chicken or turkey stock alongside 500ml of milk.
Heat up the sauce on a medium-high heat until it begins to boil, once it does, throw in 175g of Parmesan cheese (or cheddar if you prefer). Stir in the cheese then quickly take the sauce of the heat, adding in your leftover turkey.
Drain your pasta and place into a bowl and proceed to pour over your creamy turkey sauce.
