Christmas pet warning as vet lists festive items that could prove fatal

As Christmas rolls upon us, and 62 per cent of the population having a furry friend, there are some things you should be watching out for this festive season.

Dr Helena Adalid Marin, a veterinarian revealed that chocolate is not the only thing toxic to dogs this Christmas. Did you know that tinsel, mistletoe and popular Christmas flowers are also deadly and should be avoided at all costs?

There are a whole host of things that could prove to be dangerous to man's best friend, so we have compiled a list below of things to watch out for this Christmas.
