With Advent in full swing, there are plenty of chances to catch classic Christmas films at cosy cinemas in Newcastle and nearby.
The Everyman and Tyneside cinemas in Newcastle, Jam Jar in Whitley Bay and Hexham's Forum are all showing Christmas films this December. There are absolute Yuletide clasics like It's a Wonderful Life, modern favourites like Elf and, of course, the ever debated is-it-a-Christmas-film, Die Hard, also makes a few appearances.
