A huge Christmas market is coming to Wirral this festive season.
From tomorrow, November 26, the banks of the Mersey will play host to a festive market each weekend. There will be market stalls, street food, a bar, live music, a snowman trail, Santa's grotto and more, as well as stunning views over to Liverpool.
The Christmas market will run each Saturday and Sunday at Woodside Ferry Village from 11am to 5pm. There will be more than 30 local independents, selling a wide range of products.

The Christmas markets will have a variety of stallholders selling wellness products, sustainable products, clothing, jewellery, gifts and all sorts of things — as well as baked goods, artisan food, wines, mulled wine and gins. There will be street food, a bar and live music as well as lots of family friendly activities such as a snowman trail, face painting and Santa's grotto.
Inside the Woodside Ferry Village food hall, which was recently voted in the Top Seven Food Halls in the UK by Visit Britain, visitors can find Devinas Mauritian food, Paolo Italian, Haku Japanese, Scooby's American, Ena Pa Caribbean and Alex's Pitta Greek. There'll also be two for one cocktails at Pausha bar and bottomless brunch offering a meal from one of the vendors and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes for £30 per person.
Laura-Jane Dodd from Wirral Chamber Of Commerce said: "I'm super excited for this year's Christmas markets, working with Jess from This Side Of The Water to bring in new traders. We love supporting local makers, bakers and creators — giving them an affordable platform to showcase their goods.
"Jess and I have been working very hard to support our local independent traders and we're looking forward to making it a fantastic December for them, whilst offering something very special to the people of Wirral."
Jess Waring from This Side Of The Water said: "I've been running markets for local independents for a while now and honestly the quality of what they offer is amazing — so many gorgeous handmade products. It's great to join forces with Independent Wirral for this year's Christmas markets — there'll be so much going on and it will be truly magical."
The Woodside Christmas Markets will be located at Woodside Ferry Village and will run every Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 5pm, starting tomorrow, Saturday, November 26 and running up until Saturday, December 17.
