Tickets have gone on sale for a hugely popular Christmas event that’s returning later this year.
Dunham Massey’s after dark illuminated festive trail tends to sell out quickly due to high demand for tickets. The event is returning to the National Trust venue, which is around a 45 minute drive from Liverpool, on November 18 and will run until January 2, 2023.
The mile long enchanting light trail is packed with captivating illuminations, including ‘Giant Lilies’, a multi coloured laser garden and the dandelion-inspired ‘Light a Wish’, a huge glowing structure that reaches high into the night sky.

As you make your way along the trail, there’s seasonal surprises, shimmering reflections and festive music to get you in the spirit. There are also independent street food vendors selling tasty treats, an open fire pit where you can toast huge marshmallows and you can walk under the stars with a ‘spiced winter warmer’ or hot chocolate to keep warm.
Dunham Massey’s Christmas trail is designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy. Despite it only being June, public demand is high so people are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
Matthew Findlay, Head of UK Trails for Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, said: “We were thrilled with the fantastic response from visitors who enjoyed the trail last Christmas and our planning and preparation for Dunham Massey is already well underway for this year. Look out for some new surprises!”
