Christmas Day weather as Met Office shares December forecast

The Christmas period could see "below-normal temperatures" , according to the Met Office's long range weather forecast.

The national weather service has released a long range forecast stretching from December 4 to 28. This covers Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The Met Office has predicted scattered showers, frost and fog see and spells of "wintry precipitation".
