Christine Quinn has opened up about a past romance she had with a ‘sugar daddy’ and explained she ended the relationship when she realised he was tracking her movements.
The 33-year-old Selling Sunset star is well know for her strong opinions and the fact that she doesn’t suffer any fools – as well as her penchant for starting arguments.
And while she is now happily married to multi-millionaire Christian Richard, 42, with whom she shares a one-year-old son, she dated an older man when she was in her 20s.
Christine has shared her life advice in a new book titled How To Be A Boss B*tch and goes into detail about her past love life.
And in an interview with People magazine, she explained when the blissful romance she enjoyed with a man referred to as Mr Valentino turned to one of worry.
Christine and Mr V were an item when she was 21 and he was 40 – with the pair meeting in Dallas where Christeine worked in a bar, long before her career as a glamorous estate agent.
And while Mr V was wealthy and introduced her to the finer things in life, he soon started exhibiting a controlling nature and began trying to restrict her life.
She said: “The biggest mistake that I ever made was quitting my job. I wish I wouldn't have done that. But I quit my job for him and by doing so, I lost my power.
“He basically wanted me to be a housewife, and I didn't want that life. So I chose to walk away."
She went on to explain that he bought her a Bently car – but was secretly tracking it’s movements and also flew into a rage when she ate McDonalds in the car.
She said: “He gave me this car and bought me all these beautiful gifts, and that's great — but I don't like to be controlled.
”That was a trigger point to me because it's a very violating feeling to realize that someone is tracking you or stalking you or invading your privacy."
Christine added: "I had never experienced that before. It was just a form of control, and I don't think it was meant to be really malicious per se, but it made me really value freedom and independence, and made me realize I have to make my own kingdom first, then my king will come."
Selling Sunset fans most recently saw Christine seemingly burn her bridges when she turned vicious against one of her colleagues at The Oppenheim Group – the real estate company in LA where she works and where the smash hit Netflix show is based.
She found herself clashing with her castmates when it was suggested she had tried to bribe a vendor not to work with her colleague, Chrishell Stause, when it came to selling a property.
And while it seemed to be the final straw for Oppenheim Group co-owner Jason, the bottle blonde has suggested she will return to the show for season six.
She told US Weekly this week: “The show is, like, my No. 1 [and] everyone knows that. But we just have to get creative now because I don’t work for the Oppenheim Group. Maybe it’s a battle of the brokerages.”
