Christine McGuinness has admitted that she 'has never really swam before'.
The 34-year-old revealed that she is currently having adult swimming lessons ahead of her appearance on ITV's The Games, which will see 12 famous faces go head-to-head in a range of sporting challenges for the new series. She is one of two celebrities currently learning to swim to take part in the programme.
The model revealed that she couldn't swim as she took to Instagram to support a co-star. TV & Radio Host Will Njobvu is also overcoming his fear of the water ahead of appearing on the show alongside Christine.

He posted on his social media platform, while posing in a pool wearing goggles and a swim cap. The TV star said: "I’m learning how to swim in my twenties for @thegamestv. When I was in school, friends used to invite me swimming for their birthday’s & I had to lie and say my mum wouldn’t let me out. Now it’s time to overcome my fear and become a good swimmer!"
Christine commented below the image. She said: "I am so proud of you." Will thanked her for the support, as he replied: "You’ve been supporting my journey since the start - thank you Christine."
She also went on to share the post to her Instagram Stories along with a touching message. She wrote: "I am so unbelievably proud of this @will_njo."
Christine added: "We are both only just learning to swim as adults. But whilst I had just never really swam before, @will_njo actually had a fear of swimming! Now look at that smile. #It'sNeverTooLate."
