Christine McGuinness has shared how her holiday with husband Paddy may be in doubt after a problem with their daughter's passport . The planned holiday came amid swirling rumours about the couple's marriage.
Earlier this month the former model spoke to the press about her 11-year marriage after rumours of a split began to swirl.
Speculation about the couple's relationship arose when Paddy, 48, wasn't seen publicly supporting his wife during her stint on ITV’s The Games before the pair went on separate trips. Christine headed off on her first girls holiday with Chelcee Grimes after the pair bonded during their appearance on the sporting competition show while Paddy headed off to Thailand to film for Top Gear.
Christine told The Sun: "I can’t deny we are having a very, very difficult time." She added: "It’s just — we’ve been together 15 years, 11 years married: we are gonna have ups and downs — but this situation at the minute — I don’t want to go into it too much but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation."

Days later she appeared on ITV's Lorraine where she told stand-in host Carol Vorderman: "I think marriages just go through ups and downs anyway. I think all marriages - especially long ones like ours - it's not always going to be plain sailing but we're trying to deal with things as privately as possible."
She also revealed the couple and their three children - twins Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, six - were heading off on holiday this week to spend quality time together. The 34-year-old said: "We just want to be there to support the children and have an amazing summer.' We're going away on a family holiday next week and we're really excited. They're always going to be our focus."
However, the family of five have been hit by a stumbling block. She told Best magazine, reports OK! : "I'm not sure we are now! We're having a bit of a nightmare to be honest. We just realised our youngest Felicity's passport runs out tomorrow, so now we're a bit unsure we are going at all."
She added that the flights and villa are already booked, so maybe there’s hope yet that the holiday can still take place. "I am keeping everything crossed. I really want to take [the children] away," Christine continued.
"We've already started preparing the children to go. I've already shown them pictures of the villa and swimming pool. I am desperate for it, I was so looking forward to a family holiday for the children. Now we've got this other nightmare, which seems to be the story of my life at the minute! Something else thrown in..."
While she has been open about their difficulties, Christine was happy to gush over her husband as a dad. She told Best magazine: "In the early years, he really struggled. He went away an awful lot and it was difficult for him to fully bond with the children. But once we got over the early toddler years, he started coming home more, and he's been amazing. I can't fault him as a dad. I love seeing that bond between him and the children. They absolutely love him to bits."
