Christine McGuinness gave Paddy ultimatum amid 'breaking point' after twins' birth

Christine Guinness reportedly gave husband Paddy McGuinness an ultimatum after the birth of their twin children.

The 34-tear-old former Real Housewives of Cheshire star was concerned about their living arrangements, after they had married in 2011.

The couple welcomed twins Penelope and Leo in 2013 before Felicity was born in 2016.

They have been under the media spotlight in recent weeks as their marriage creaks under rumours that the couple had split or, at least, going through a rocky time.

Christine had also hit out at the rumours, saying that she didn't cause this situation" in a pointed comment to Paddy.

Previously, Christine had opened up about her marriage, when she shared in her autobiography A Beautiful Nightmare, which was released in November last year, that she was not happy with how their relationship was going.

She wrote that living in Bolton wasn't going well for her and that she had planned to "leave" the family home.

When the twins were a year old, she told Paddy: "I can't stay here anymore. I'm leaving. You can either come with me or you can stay here, but I cannot live in Bolton forever.

"I just don't know anyone. I don't go out. I stay at home at all the time while you're backwards and forwards to work."

Christine continued: "It was a bit of a breaking point for us, And within a heartbreat, he replied. 'Absolutely, what do you want to do? Where do you want to go? Let's get up a leave".

It was after this that the family moved to Cheshire and Christine's outlook was a lot brighter and she said her social life "completely changed".

The former reality star wrote: "I didn't know a single person. People heard we'd moved into the area and instantly sent invitations to go to their house, to BBQs and their salons.

"We both says it's the best thing we ever did, for us as a family and as a couple".

After 15 years together, this seems to be the hardest time they have been through.

Christine admitted as such when she appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Tuesday, on which she said that it hasn't been "plain sailing" and that they were "dealing with things privately as possible", with their kids being the main focus.

A brighter future is appearing though as Christine admitted that they will all be going on holiday together.

She said: "We're going away on a family holiday next week and we're really excited about it."
