"As you can see, we are all here together tonight."
It comes after Carol McGiffin admitted on Loose Women that the ladies are not her friends.
The 62-year-old said: "I do think there is a fine line between friends and acquaintances..."
Co-panellist Nadia Sawalha asked: "So are we your friends Carol?"
She replied: "I wouldn't class you as actual [friends]..." as the audience gasped. Carol added: "Well no..."
Kaye replied: "We've known you for 20 years!"
Carol said: "I know but I don't call you every day."
"If we stopped working together would we be friends? Probably not, I'm being honest."
Kaye added: "No, I don't agree."
Speaking to the Daily Star at the NTAs, Christine added: "They're all my friends and Kaye wasn't upset, no that's all nonsense and we are all professionals so we have a great time."
