Christian Pulisic responded to Thomas Tuchel's plea to "make a difference" in Chelsea's 1-0 victory against West Ham on Sunday afternoon, scoring the winner at Stamford Bridge.
The American, 23, came off the bench to convert a low cross from Marcos Alonso in the last minute of the Premier League fixture, expertly guiding his left-footed effort into the bottom corner. It was Pulisic's seventh goal of the season in all competitions.
Pulisic has struggled to show his best since joining Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, making just 69 Premier League appearances to date. Yet he remains a top forward and a useful asset for manager Tuchel.
