Christian Darrisaw labeled top-five offensive tackle

One of the more encouraging aspects of the 2022 season was the play of Minnesota Vikings’ left tackle Christian Darrisaw. Vikings fans admired Darrisaw’s blend of strength and athleticism. Fans of the team weren’t the only ones to take notice.

Heavy.com’s Matt Lombardo listed his top-five tackles in the NFL. Darrisaw was ranked fourth behind only Andrew Thomas, Trent Williams, and Lane Johnson.

Christian Darrisaw continues to [be] dominant, and continues to get better as his young career progresses in Minnesota.

Darrisaw has far exceeded his draft position, No. 23 overall in the 2021 draft, and become a crucial cog in the Vikings‘ offensive machine.

Last season, Darrisaw allowed 5.0 sacks but only 20 total pressures, while absolutely mauling as a run-blocker. Pro Football Focus awarded Darrisaw with a 90.3 overall grade and 90.2 run-blocking mark, last season.

Darrisaw is a crucial part of this lethal Vikings offense moving forward. Last season during training camp, he was receiving comparisons to Williams and he proved them true this past season. If he continues to improve, there is a shot that he may be able to take the top spot in lists like these very soon.
