Remember when you were younger and you overplucked your eyebrows because the thin shape was trendy?
Apparently so does Chrissy Teigen, and she’s taken the steps to correct her misdoings.
Stars, they’re just like us!
But unlike us, Teigen has the watchful eyes of the world on her, so it was only expected people would have an issue with her cosmetic surgery.
The 35-year-old recently shared earlier this week that she underwent an eyebrow transplant surgery, a procedure that involves replacing the hair follicles in her eyebrows in order to for them to appear larger and denser.
“I never wear makeup if I can avoid it so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery where they take hairs from the back of your head!!!” wrote Teigen.

“A little dark from the pencil but it’s so cool to have brows again! teens: do not pluck them all off like I did!” she cautioned her followers.
Her fuller, fluffier eyebrows definitely make a difference in her appearance and have hopefully turned out the way Teigen was hoping for.
Not long after she shared her new look from her surgery, however, people jumped to slam the model for undergoing the pricey procedure (per People, the surgery can cost anywhere from $4,000 to $7,000) and was labeled with being ‘tone deaf’ by many.
The online world didn’t hold back on sharing their thoughts:
“Chrissy Teigen Got an Eyebrow Transplant. Chrissy Teigen has a new set of thick, bushy eyebrows thanks to a surgery that takes hair follicles from the back of your head and installs them over your eyes. When one has money, one can do all sorts of silly, nonessential things!" wrote one Twitter user.

Another read, “I’m sorry, but I think Chrissy Teigen’s eyebrows look terrible. I’m sure it wasn’t cheap either. My disdain for celebrities grows more and more when they spend money on unnecessary stuff like that and you have people on social security, disability, etc that can’t buy food.”

One person even referenced Teigen’s recent squabble with BuzzFeed, who wrote an article detailing their disapproval of her lavish Squid Game-themed party.
“Chrissy Teigen being mad at BuzzFeed for talking about her morally oblivious Squid Games party and angrily posting stories about them while also posting about getting a hair transplant surgery on her eyebrows (seriously) is just very on brand”

For someone who lives on the internet as much as Teigen seems to, it was only a matter of time before she saw and issued a response to the backlash. Posting a screenshot from an article that gathered tweets of people mocking Teigen, she wrote: ‘‘WHY are people so f*cking riled up over any little thing I do? You’re gonna give yourselves a heart attack.”
The internet has always pounced at the opportunity to make fun or insult Teigen, and unfortunately, the lot doesn’t seem as though they’ll be letting up anytime soon.
