Chris Sutton has aimed a dig at Rangers after the Celtic hero was questioned on social media with his North London derby prediction.
The ex-Celtic hitman, speaking to BBC Sport, predicted that Sunday's derby between rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur would end in a rout from Mikel Arteta's men. The Englishman predicted neither Spurs nor top scorer Harry Kane would lay a glove on the Premier League leaders and caught some flak from Tottenham fans on Twitter.
One wrote in reaction to the prediction: "Hey @SpursOffiicial are you going to allow @chris_sutton73 to get away with this? Surely an automatic lifetime ban from the stadium? And… @HKane… you know what to do…"

Sutton, who is often engaged in verbal jousting with Rangers hero Ally McCoist on BT Sport's Scottish Football Extra, delivered a timely reminder of his previous exclusion from covering football when refused entry for a Light Blues' Europa League match in 2021 due to the club citing 'security reasons' and 'safety concerns.'
Sutton responded on Twitter: "A lifetime ban would be excessive for a score prediction… don’t turn into Rangers…"
