Chris Rock's brother Tony takes another furious swipe at Will Smith over Oscars slap

Chris Rock's brother has doubled down on his condemnation of Will Smith and his Oscars slap.

Tony Rock, a fellow stand-up comedian, has already made his feelings towards Will crystal clear after watching the King Richard actor strike his older brother across the face live at the 94th Academy Awards.

Taking to the stage at his latest comedy gig, Tony told his audience: "If you think you gonna walk up on this stage, this ain't the motherf***ing Oscars.

"And if you walk your ass you here, you ain't nominated for s**t but these mothef***ing hands! Oh we are going to pop the rest of the year. Every time you see me do a show, pop!"

He later added: "I didn't want to start the show like that!

"You gonna hit my motherf***ing brother because your b***h gave you a side-eye?" he asked, referencing this incident again.

The jokes came after Tony already said that Will's apology over the shocking events did not cut it.

Tony said that he was still 'waiting' for Will to speak directly to his brother and their family.

Will broke his silence on Instagram 24 hours after the ceremony, saying he wanted to publicly apologise to Chris.

The Fresh Prince star said he was embarrassed by his behaviour, which he called 'unacceptable and inexcusable.'

"There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness," he penned.

This weekend, Will went a step further by resigning from the Oscars Academy.

He said he wanted to put the 'focus on those who deserve attention for their achievements' after stealing focus at the ceremony.

The move came two days after the Academy met to start talks over disciplinary action against Will.

In a statement, Will said he would accept any consequences the Board of Governors deemed fit.

Chris Rock has yet to directly acknowledge the events of last Sunday.

He has since commenced his stand-up comedy tour, where he was met with a standing ovation on his first gig back in Boston.

Sources at the show said Chris had tears in his eyes when he saw the response from the crowd.

"Let me be all misty and s**t," Chris said. "I don't have a bunch of s**t to say about that, so if you came here for that...."

Chris also said he hasn't spoken to Will about what happened 'despite what you heard.'

Oscars producer Will Packer has since spoken out about what went down backstage with Chris in the immediate aftermath of the slap.

Packer said police officers told Chris they would remove Will from the audience and arrest him for battery.

"We will go get him, we are prepared to get him right now," officers told Chris, according to Packer. "'You can press charges. We can arrest him."

Packer claimed Chris turned down the request but listened to appeals to hear them out before coming to a decision.

"They were laying out the options, and as they were talking, Chris was being very dismissive of those options. He was like, 'No, I'm fine.' He was like, 'No, no, no,'" Packer said.

In the end Chris decided not to press charges, with an LAPD spokesperson saying they would get involved he chose to file a report at a later date.
