Chris Rock jokingly told fans his hearing has 'finally returned' six weeks after he was slapped across the face by Will Smith at the Oscars.
The entertainment world was brought to a standstill after the dramatic fallout between the two stars, as Smith took issue with Rock cracking jokes about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hair cut.
The comedian was stunned after King Richard actor Will walked up on stage at the Academy Awards and struck him across the face for comparing Jada to GI Jane.
Speaking out about the incident at his lates comedy show Rock, 57, spoke to the audience about his recovery.

Speaking on tour at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Rock said: "I am good. I got my hearing back. It wasn't as bad as it looked."
The comic later ended a joke with a dig at Smith.
"People who say that words are hurtful have never been punched in the face," he told the crowd.
The comedian made similar comments about the situation in the days immediately after the incident.
Chris made light of the situation during a performance at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in California.
"I'm OK, I have a whole show and I'm not talking about that until I get paid," he told the crowd.
"Life is good. I got my hearing back," he added but didn't dive deeper into the situation.
Ticket sales for Chris Rock 's comedy tour are said to have sky-rocketed, with him having reportedly sold more tickets since the Oscars than in the whole month prior.
Ticket marketplace TickPick has reported a significant increase in sales, tweeting yesterday: "We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined."
It told People that more than 50 percent of its sales for the tour had been made since the altercation at the Oscars - despite having first gone on sale in late February.
