American comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock are coming to the UK for a brief tour in just a few weeks’ time, with two shows at London’s O2 Arena and one in Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.
With two award-nominated but controversial Netflix specials under his belt, Dave Chappelle’s work in comedy has earned him one Grammy Award, one Emmy Award and three Emmy nominations.
Chris Rock boasts a 30-year career in comedy and acting, working in film and television. He made the headlines this year due to the infamous Will Smith slap at the Oscars.
Mr Smith took offence on his wife’s behalf at a joke Mr Rock made while presenting an award and slapped him while both were on stage. This has since led to Chris Rock turning down the offer to host the awards.
Although both comedians have extensive individual achievements and know each other personally, this will be the first time the pair will be performing together.
Here’s how you can still get your hands on tickets for the shows, now just a few weeks away.
How to get tickets for Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle’s London shows
Tickets went on sale on the O2’s website on Friday June 10, costing £148 per person.
