Chris Pratt has appeared to put himself in the same bracket as Jesus in his latest confession.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 43, admitted he doesn't mind the hateful comments he sometimes receives, and claimed even Jesus was once hated.
Chris has often been criticised for outspoken comments surrounding his faith, but doesn't appear to be about to back down anytime soon.
"I sure do but that’s nothing new, that’s nothing new, you know?" the actor said when asked if he received backlash online from users.
He continued to quote a biblical scripture, saying: "If I was of this world, they would love me just like that but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20."
Speaking to Page Six, the Jurassic World star continued: "That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too."
Chris and current wife Katherine Schwarzenegger first met in church in 2018, but he didn't ask her out int he place of worship.
Speaking to Drew Barrymore in February, Katherine said: "We met each other at church. It was very sweet, but he didn’t try and pick me up in church."
His latest edition of Guardians of the Galaxy is being labelled the best yet with the final instalment in the trilogy set to make over £1billion.
Based on the superhero team fighting tyranny, who first featured in Marvel Comics back in 1969, Guardians has thrilled cinema audiences around the world, making it a bigger cult classic than The Avengers and Spider-Man.
Prior to its release, m ovie effects expert Yasmine ElGhamrawy said the secret lies in timeless tales coupled with latest technology.
She said: "Your heroes come to life in a way not possible before. Technology is catching up with imagination, so you feel you’re stepping into the comic books. It’s cinema escapism at its best – two hours of fun and stunning visuals.”
While Chris is the main star of the flick, a host of other big-name celebs are part of it too, including Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista.
