With Draymond Green set to miss the opening night of the NBA season due to an ankle injury, the Golden State Warriors will have an opening in their starting lineup against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
In his debut with the Warriors, Chris Paul will get the nod from Steve Kerr in the starting lineup against his former team. Paul will join Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney in the starting lineup against the Suns on the opening night of the 2023-24 campaign.

Paul started in three of his four preseason appearances with the Warriors. In three preseason starts, Paul averaged 5.7 points for Golden State.
The 12-time All-Star spent the last three seasons with the Suns before joining the Warriors in the offseason following a trade with the Washington Wizards.
