Since acquiring Chris Paul in a blockbuster trade at the start of the offseason, there’s been a question looming over the Golden State Warriors. How will the rotation look and will Paul start? On Sunday, Steve Kerr and the Warriors provided their first answer to those questions on Sunday night.
With Draymond Green set to return to the lineup, Kerr is bring Paul off the bench on Sunday against the Houston Rockets. Sunday will mark the first time Paul is coming off the bench in his career.

Chris Paul will come off the bench tonight for the Warriors in Houston, per sources. It’ll be his first time as a reserve in his 19-year career. Started previous 1,365 games (regular season/playoffs). Draymond Green is starting in his return.

Paul was alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the starting backcourt for his first two games as a member of the Warriors. Paul scored in double figures in his opening two games. He also registered a double-double with 10 points and 12 assists in Golden State’s 122-114 win over the Sacramento Kings.
The Warriors are set to tip off against the Rockets at 4 p.m. PT on Sunday afternoon.
