Chris Moyles 'devastated' after being kicked off I'm a Celebrity before Matt Hancock

Chris Moyles admitted that he was "devastated" when being evicted from I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The radio DJ was the latest star to be kicked out of the I'm a Celebrity jungle. During his time there, he made no secret of his feelings towards Tory MP Matt Hancock.

And that continued even after he walked over the bridge to meet his girlfriend. He exclaimed that he couldn't believe that Matt Hancock had lasted in the jungle longer than him as he said: "I'm gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me, what the bejesus is going on?!?"

Today, he started his rounds of press interviews as he appeared on ITV's Lorraine. The Scottish presenter asked how he felt and Chris replied: "Can I just say I'm absolutely devastated..."

Rubbing salt into the wound, Lorraine said: "Have you got over the fact Matt Hancock is more popular than you?" He replied: "This is blowing my mind Lorraine and I know it's probably blowing the mind of 50% of the UK. But, clearly, 50% of the UK are being hugely entertained by him."

Confused, he explained he hasn't stopped and hasn't managed to see any of the show, so doesn't know how himself or Mr Hancock had been portrayed to the public during their time in the jungle. He asked: "How is everyone else feeling about him going in?"

Lorraine explained that most are seeing two sides to the politician - one being the version that everyone dislikes and the other being the man who wins stars in the Bushtucker trials.

Chris lasted 20 days in the jungle and during that time did not do very well in the Bushtucker Trials. However, he described going on the show as a "massive privilege" and a "real honour".
