Former Leeds United player and legendary Sky Sports presenter Chris Kamara has opened up about his life and in particular his dreams and aspirations during a podcast earlier this week.
The 64-year-old, who helped Leeds gain promotion from the Second Division in 1989/90, recently opened up about his battle with apraxia of speech (AOS) and how the neurological condition forced him to step down from his role as a broadcaster.
Known for his gaffes and hilarious personality while on camera, Kamara revealed on Steven Bartlett's The Diary of a CEO podcast that he "felt like a fraud" after his condition worsened but there was a positive end to the emotional episode.

At the end of the episode, Kamara was asked about what had bought him the most happiness and joy in his life and hearkened back to his playing days with the Whites during his answer.
"Kids aside, I'd say achieving my ambition and my dream. As a young black kid, playing on the fields around where I lived, thinking that one day I'll play at Ayresome Park for Middlesbrough and Elland Road for Leeds, it's blown my mind away.
"Ambition and dreams achieved."
