Duncan on the fight's key moment
“I knew he was going to be tough. I prepared for a tough fight. I know I’ve got power. I didn’t want to rush it. I’m still a baby to this game. I got some good cage time in there. It was a good performance.”
Duncan on his dream of being in the UFC
“This is my dream. I remember phoning my girlfriend on the way back from a seminar and I’d mentioned to her that when I was blowing out candles or if I saw a shooting star or I was making a wish, I would always say, ‘I want to be in the UFC.’ So that’s why I’m smiling when I’m in there.”
Duncan on what he wants next
“Trevor Peek or Jordan Leavitt – one of those two (is who I want next). Trevor comes to fight, and Jordan Leavitt’s a great jiu-jitsu practitioner. Nothing against them – I just think they’re great opponents and it’ll be fun to get in there with them. Give me another couple of smiles in there.
“… I’m here for myself. People think it’s just a show. I’m not here for a show. I’m here to f*cking kill.”
