Chris Brown throws a tantrum after losing Grammy Award to artist he's never heard of

Chris Brown is furious after losing out on a Grammy Award for the best R&B album, as he admitted he's never even heard of the winner.

The singer-songwriter, 33, had been nominated in the category for his Breezy (Deluxe) album. However, Chris lost out on the accolade to Robert Glasper and his Black Radio III album.

Taking to Instagram after the news broke, Chris hit out at Robert for taking home the gong.

Sharing a screenshot of the results, Chris asked his 131million followers: "Who the f**k is Robert Glasper?"

He added: "Yall playing," followed by a series of crying laughing emojis.

And Chris didn't stop there, sharing another post reading: "Ima keep kicking yall a**! Respectfully."

Chris vowed to expand his musical horizons in order to win more awards, writing: "I Gotta get my skills up.. ima start playing the harmonica."

He later shared a video of himself which he edited to add a harmonica. Chris wrote: "New level unlocked! Harmonica brezzy."

People weren't impressed with Chris' behaviour and many took to Twitter to share their opinions.

"Chris Brown being unaware of Robert Glasper tells me everything I need to know about why he’s still making regurgitated 2012 era R&B/Pop," one person wrote.

Someone explained Robert is: "Somebody who has a Grammy this year and not you. You would probably win a Grammy if you stopped making 30 song albums."

A third added: "robet glasper is a talented guy and he deserves the win!! take that chris brown."

Others stuck up for Chris, with one of his fans tweeting: "Chris Brown deserved to win!"

Another said: "Ain’t nobody answer Chris brown question though a lot of y’all don’t know either."

For Chris' benefit, Robert is a 44-year-old pianist and record producer.

His Grammy Award winning album Black Radio III, features special guest appearances from a number of stars, including Gregory Porter, H.E.R. and Jennifer Huddson.

As well as receiving an award in the R&B category, the album also got a nod for best engineered album, non-classical.
