Minnesota United manager Adrian Heath admits the club ARE interested in Cho Gue-sung - and have already opened talks over a potential deal.
The striker looks set to be on the move after making history in Qatar as the first South Korean ever to score multiple goals in a single World Cup game. Celtic see him as a potential alternative to Giorgos Giakoumakis as Ange Postecoglou looks to complete another swoop of the Asian market, while Rangers are also aware of a player who is sparking signing auction.
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors sporting director Park Ji-Sung is in London for talks with interested clubs and it seems MLS side Minnesota have already got the wheels in motion. Their manager Heath reveals the club have already started "dialogue" to get the deal moving although he isn't their only target.
He said: "I’d be lying if he wasn’t of interest. The way he played in the World Cup showed everybody.
"But we’ll have to wait and see. There has been some dialogue there — along with two or three other players as well."
