Chloe Sims admits regret over having her daughter tested for autism and ADHD

Chloe Sims says she regrets ever mentioning that she had her teenage daughter assessed for ADHD and autism and says she never followed up on the testing.

The 39-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star is proud mum to 16-year-old daughter Madison who she shares with an ex-fiancé named Matthew.

Chloe says she had her daughter tested for the behavioural condition autism as well as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as she suspected her daughter could ‘possibly’ have both conditions.

However, she feels her candid confession about the testing has been overblown and now fans are overly focused on the past tests.

Opening up to OK!, Chloe was asked to explain the testing process that Madison had been subjected to in the past.

She explained: “I had her assessed and it was a possibility, but we’ve never followed it up. Now it seems to be all over the internet. I probably shouldn’t have been that open back then.

“That was an error on my part because now we get asked all the time, but we don’t talk about that anymore. I just had her assessed when she was seven, and they said potentially, that’s all.”

In a wide ranging interview – which also included Madison herself who admitted she thinks her reality star mum tries to steal her style – Chloe also said she would routinely lie about what cosmetic procedures she has had to her daughter.

Asked if she has told Madison what procedures she’s had, Chloe said: “No. In the past, whenever I’ve had any bruises or anything like that, I’d just make something up, say I fell over or something.

“It’s not something she needs to be aware of. She’s only 16. She did ask if she could have veneers once, but now she’s got a brace.”

And while Chloe might be avoiding sharing all the details of what procedures she has undergone, she does admit she has no regrets about the surgeries she’s had.

She rejected the idea of having regrets, telling the magazine: “No, because at the time it was what I wanted.

“I stopped having surgery after I had the Brazilian bum lift about four years ago. It was the most painful thing I’ve ever been through in my whole entire life. It was worse than childbirth. I don’t have filler any more, but a face threading treatment instead. As you get older, filler doesn’t sit well on your face.”

Earlier this year, Chloe expressed her pride in her daughter after she successfully completed a make-up course.

Madison beamed from ear to ear as she posed in front of a salon front desk after completing her course at the Essex Hair and Makeup Salon in Essex back in January.

Sharing the snap with fans via social media, proud mum Chloe wrote: "Well done Madison… completed her first intense make up course @essexhairandmakeupacademyx. My little MUA."
