Chloe Sims ' new OnlyFans reality show, House of Sims, is said to be in crisis after scheduled filming in America was reportedly cancelled.
The 40-year-old quit The Only Way is Essex earlier this year after 11 years on the show and later announced she and her siblings had launched their own family reality programme.
Chloe and her family are said to have signed a £1million contract for the show which is due to launch on OnlyFans TV. The mum-of-one will be a co-producer of House of Sims, which is set to feature brother Charlie, his fiancée Georgia Shults and sisters Demi and Frankie.
However, the family has now suffered a "disappointing setback" after filming was "cancelled".
"Chloe and the family were due to fly to the US to shoot scenes for their new show but it’s not happening now. It doesn’t look good for them after the huge deal they made about quitting TOWIE and going it alone.
"It’s definitely a disappointing setback for Chloe but they’re hoping to get things back on track as soon as possible," a TV insider told The Sun.
However, a spokesman for OnlyFans told The Mirror: "OnlyFans has a close working relationship with the Sims. They will be filming in US and UK, stay tuned for more behind the scenes through their OnlyFans profiles."
27-year-old Frankie also shared a picture on her Instagram Stories to reveal shooting in the UK was going ahead.
The reality star posed for the camera as she had her hair styled. She captioned the post: "Filming House of Sims. 20/09/2022 Day 1."
She also shared a video revealing as much as she could about the new series.
"So I'm not going to say too much, but House of Sims docuseries on OFTV filming starts today in a couple of hours. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time.
"I don't really know how to feel right now. It's just been such a long time coming and the day is finally here."
Speaking about her new venture with MailOnline, Chloe said: "I get people will want to compare this to TOWIE, but this is a different concept; this will be a fly-on-the-wall insight into our lives as a family, currently calling it House of Sims as a working title.
"It will be completely real, and we're really excited to bring our viewers along on a big unfiltered adventure.
"We're proud to be The Sims, but being compared to the Kardashians all the time is a big compliment to us as a family. We want to see where this new show can take us and plan to go global."
