Chloe Madeley gave birth to her first child with husband James Haskell last month, after undergoing an emergency C-section.
The couple welcomed daughter Bodhi on August 10, with 35-year-old Chloe saying they were "utterly besotted and beaming with pride" after announcing the news on Instagram.
The personal trainer endured a difficult eight-hour induced labour which resulted in a "painful" C-section and left her body feeling like "a bit of a mess".
Chloe had planned on having a natural water birth with gas and air. Things changed when Bodhi stayed put 24 hours after Chloe's waters had broken.
The new mum was told she had to be induced due to the risk of infection.
She gave birth via an emergency C-section after Bodhi's heart rate plummeted several times during Chloe's labour.
"The C-section was painful, I’m not going to lie, but it will heal and it was so worth it. I’d let them cut me open every week just to get her again, so it’s fine.
"I’ve got a 12-week recovery period ahead of me but that’s a great excuse to just bed in at home with my new baby. Right now, I think my body is just going to be a bit of a mess for a few more weeks," Chloe told OK! magazine.
She admitted that the incision management is "challenging" and said she doesn't have use of her core right now.
Chloe gushed over her husband, telling the publication: "James has been utterly incredible, just the dream partner, I couldn’t have asked for a better husband."
The couple moved in with Chloe's famous parents, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, before the birth while they wait for renovations to finish on their new house.
Chloe said her mum has been having an hour-long cuddle with her new granddaughter each morning, while her dad has been helping to settle Bodhi when needed.
Chloe and husband James said having the extra help has been an "absolute dream".
Richard was live on air on Good Morning Britain when Chloe gave birth. He said he received updates throughout the programme and would check his phone during each ad break.
When the show finished, he opened his phone to a picture of his new granddaughter. Richard said the crew gathered around and applauded.
Judy said her daughter is "fantastic" and has bonded with her baby straight away.
