Chloe Madeley looks stunning on date night with husband after being applauded for showing postpartum body

Chloe Madeley and James Haskell managed to sneak away from their baby bubble to enjoy a romantic date night. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world last month after a difficult eight-hour induced labour ended in a C-section.

Chloe, who is the daughter of former This Morning stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, feared the moment they welcomed their baby girl, who they named Bodhi Rae Georgia Haskell, would never happen after two years of trying to conceive. "I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my whole life," 35-year-old Chloe told OK! Magazine at the time.

The new parents have since been getting to grip with life with a baby in tow, with Chloe sharing sweet updates on social media. But Chloe and former rubgy star James, 37, managed to steal some time away for themselves.

Chloe took to Instagram on Wednesday evening (September 28) to share a picture to her Stories of her and her man, who she married in 2018, out at a restaurant. James, in a black t-shirt, gave a wry smile for the camera while Chloe looked glam in a khaki green outfit with her blonde locks slightly curled.

It comes after Chloe was flooded with praise for showing off her postpartum journey so far. The persona trainer Chloe shared how she has returned to working out and told of her experience of building back her strength following her 'painful' c-section. " 6 weeks PP and slowly building back up to strength, fitness and nutritional health," she typed alongside a series of snaps.

The images showed the new mum just before the birth of her baby girl at 40 weeks pregnant, showing off her baby bump in in a grey bra and black pants. This post reflects MY journey so far, and every step of said journey has been instructed and green lit after being assessed by 2 separate physiotherapists," she said.

"One of whom has been treating me for years and knows me and my body very well, the other a Women’s Health Physio who has been treating me since week 36 of my pregnancy (I made it to week 41)."

As the images showed the changes to her body over the first few weeks, she also incorporated some videos of the exercises she has been doing for her pelvic floor and general strength and fitness. She also spoke about her journey so far in the caption before adding: "You’re not meant to upload your personal journey as a coach, people think it sets a bad example to what EVERYONE should be doing.

"I disagree. I think it’s helpful for clients to see they’re not weak or noncommittal, we’re all human and we all have to build on healthy habits over time before we look or feel the part. I also remembered this was how I got into this business, a passion for body transformation of any and all kinds, and journeys of my own I got great pleasure from. So I’m bringing it back."

But in the comments, as she got inundated with responses, Chloe also opened up about how after giving birth, she worried she'd never feel sexy again.

"The bleeding and the breast leakage can get so tiresome that you cry because you just want to sit with nothing on for a few minutes (still there)," she wrote. "You can’t ever imagine feeling sexy again (still there). Sometimes you just sit and stare even though you have a f**k ton of work to do (still there)."

And her followers were quick to heap praise on her honesty. @littlemissmuffintop_startsover said: "You’re so amazing, I just love how honest and real you are." @charchar1404 commented: "You look amazing. Thank you for uploading this, so good to see the journey such a good read."

@tejfightingfit replied: "Love this @madeleychloe - you are such a wonderful role model and living what you preach! It’s incredible what our bodies are capable of! You look incredible by the way." @mrsmorra shared: "Love this post. Honest and brilliant as always. You look incredible." @ksharke1 added: "What an amazing post. And honest reflections. Thankyou for always being inspiring."
