Chloe Madeley is embracing life as a new mum to daughter Bodhi - but has shared her apprehension over the new chapter in life.
The 35 year old welcomed her baby girl earlier this month with husband James Haskell, but later admitted that childbirth "did not go to plan" as she was rushed to get an emergency c-section.
Opening up further about her fears regarding motherhood, Chloe said that she was worried about breastfeeding and her body.
However, in the powerful Instagram post, she told other women in the same situation to "not take their body personally".
Sharing a candid photo of herself breastfeeding her daughter, she wrote: "The thing I was most apprehensive about my whole pregnancy?
"It wasn’t the childbirth, which I was quietly certain would go to plan.
"It wasn’t the fact we were moving house at 37 weeks .
"It was breastfeeding, which I was absolutely certain would fall apart for me in a matter of days, if not hours, like it did for so many friends and family members of mine.
"What I learned throughout my pregnancy, and what I’ve learned since in the postnatal period, is not to take your body personally (even though your visceral reaction will likely tell you to). Don’t do it.
"Don’t think that because you expect your body to do something, it will, and don’t think you should attach any kind of emotion to that whatsoever.
"I could never have predicted that I’d end up getting an emergency c-section, or why, and I could never have predicted that breastfeeding would come so naturally to both my body and my baby.
"After a decade long love affair of action / reaction between myself and my body respectively, I can safely say that the tables have turned.
"Expectations…lol."
Her friends and fans flocked to the comments to praise her wise words, with one writing: "SUCH WISDOM! Xx."
While Claire Sweeney commented: "I loved breastfeeding enjoy my darling."
A third wrote: "such a real post. I’ve had lovely pregnancies and very text book births. However breast feeding for me was different with all of my children. One just would not latch, one I couldn’t fill for love not money and had to top up with formula, and the one that took to it amazingly, my body couldn’t cope with the demand!! you are doing amazing xxx
