A man has been arrested in Morley after a threat was made at Morley Town Hall today, May 20, towards a Leeds MP.
Police have arrested a man after a suspected bomb threat about MP Andrea Jenkyns at Morley Town Hall at 9.18am today. The threat was made towards security staff about the Morley MP and a man was later arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and remains in custody.

Andrea Jenkyns was not present at the time of the threat. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 9.18am today, police received a report of a male having made a threat about MP Andrea Jenkyns to security staff a Morley Town Hall.
"Mrs Jenkyns was not present at the time and was located by officers and safeguarded. A man has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and is currently in custody.
"Officers are continuing to liaise with Mrs Jenkyns and her team to provide safeguarding and reassurance for them, and enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
