Veteran wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown returned to practice with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday for the first time since he sustained a shoulder injury during the defending Super Bowl champions’ first preseason game in August.
The Chiefs opened Brown’s practice window to return from their injured reserve list, but the team announced that he will not be active for Kansas City’s Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Brown signed with the Chiefs as a free agent after Kansas City’s victory in Super Bowl LVIII earlier this year.
He is expected to provide Patrick Mahomes with a dynamic deep threat in the passing game and should be one of the top receivers on the Chiefs’ depth chart when he returns from Kansas City’s injured reserve list.

Fans should expect Brown to make his regular-season Chiefs debut at some point during Kansas City’s brutal late-season stretch, with three games set to be played between December 15 and 25.
