Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster shares Super Bowl Valentine’s Day card

A fourth-quarter holding penalty has been the subject of much discussion in the wake of Super Bowl LVII and now Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is having a bit of fun with it.

Philadelphia Eagles CB James Bradberry got called on a holding penalty that gave the Chiefs an automatic first down in the final moments of the fourth quarter. It ultimately helped set up the game-winning kick from Harrison Butker. Bradberry has since admitted that he committed the penalty and it was the right call, while some fans remain in serious denial about the play.

On Valentine’s Day, Smith-Schuster decided to have a little bit of fun at Bradberry’s expense. He posted the following mock-up Valentine’s Day card on Twitter with the caption, “Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody.”

“I’ll hold you when it matters most,” the card reads, with a picture of Bradberry in his Eagles uniform.

Funny or tasteless? You be the judge. Some might say it feels a little harsh to kick Bradberry when he’s down in the wake of the Super Bowl. It seems especially true when you consider that he’s been so gracious in his comments to the media afterward. At the same time, Bradberry did actually hold Smith-Schuster when it mattered most.
