Chiefs vs. Panthers: Noah Gray snags second touchdown to extend Kansas City’s lead

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray is having a breakout month of November and has continued his run of dominance against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

As defenses focus their attention on the Chiefs’ more notable pass-catchers like tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, lesser-known players are finding plenty of opportunities to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes.

After opening the game with a wide-open touchdown reception, Gray found himself scoring another touchdown as Kansas City drove downfield before halftime.

With under a minute left in the second quarter, and in desperate need of six points, Mahomes found Gray in the back of the endzone for a touchdown connection that extended the Chiefs’ lead.

Take a look at this video of Gray’s second touchdown, which was posted to Twitter by the team’s official account:

Up 20-9 heading into halftime, Kansas City is fighting to get back into the win column after its loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Stay tuned to see if the reigning Super Bowl champions can finish out Sunday’s game against Carolina with a win.
