Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Skyy Moore was spotted back at practice on Wednesday.
A day after leaving practice early due to what would later be deemed a hip injury, Moore practiced with the team in some capacity on Wednesday. Moore was spotted by KONN’s Steve Walls taking part in special team drills at the onset of practice. He was working with the other kick returners as Dave Toub mentioned he would just yesterday.
The team’s practice moved indoors on Wednesday due to inclement weather, limiting practice presence to media members. That means we won’t know the extent to which Moore practiced until later, but seeing him out there is a good sign. When he left practice on Tuesday, Moore walked up the hill to the indoor facility under his own power instead of riding in a cart. That’s typically a good sign when it comes to injuries.
He later responded to an Instagram post after practice reassuring fans that he was OK. KSHB-TV’s Aaron Ladd shared that post on Twitter:

The second-round draft pick has been a standout during Chiefs’ training camp so far, stacking plenty of good days at practice. If missing just a portion of Tuesday’s practice is all that comes of this injury, it’ll be great news for his ability to continue to carry that momentum on through training camp, into the preseason and eventually the regular season.
