Patrick Mahomes already boasts an impressive résumé at age 27, and he received yet another honor Friday.
The Chiefs’ superstar quarterback received the highest possible rating in the Madden 24 video game, 99, in rankings released by EA Sports.
Mahomes boasts an astounding 64-16 regular-season record as an NFL starter. The two-time league MVP, who earned placement in the exclusive the 99 club for a third time, is one of only two quarterbacks ever to receive the honor, along with Aaron Rodgers.
Mahomes subsequently took to social media to express his gratitude.

Mahomes, widely considered the best quarterback in the sport, is the betting favorite (+650) to win the league’s 2023 MVP award at SI Sportsbook.
The five-time Pro Bowl selection joins wideout Justin Jefferson, defensive tackle Aaron Donald, guard Zack Martin and tight end Travis Kelce as the only players to earn a 99 rating in this year’s version of the popular video game.
