Chiefs invite TikTok star James Droz to announce 2023 NFL draft pick

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to have a special guest announce a pick on Day 3 of the 2023 NFL draft.

On Wednesday, the Chiefs posted a video with team reporter Matt McMullen breaking the news to TikTok sensation James Droz that he would be coming to Kansas City to announce a Day 3 draft pick. Droz is most well-known for his sports videos featuring his iconic catchphrase, “What happened?” He’s a longtime fan of the Chiefs and followed the team’s Super Bowl run very closely last season. He even was invited to the team’s game the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium, where he met players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Now, the team is rewarding Droz for his support.

Let’s just say that he’s excited to get an opportunity to help a future NFL player recognize that his dream of being drafted and playing in the league is finally coming true.

If you’re not familiar with Droz and his story, you can find out more information about him and his social media channels over on his website jamesdroz.com.
