The Kansas City Chiefs are in the Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers. They have a few players set to hit free agency who would be very good fits for what the Arizona Cardinals need.
The Cardinals, of course, have needs all over the roster.
The Chiefs won’t likely be able to keep all their free agents.
These players would be good additions once free agency begins in March.
DT Chris Jones
Jones is an absolute pipe dream. If it weren’t for Aaron Donald, we would be saying that Jones is the best defensive tackle of this generation.
He had 10.5 sacks this season. He has 26 over the last two seasons and 35 over the last three.
He is looking for one last huge contract. He would be a game-changer for the Arizona defense.
CB L'Jarius Sneed
Sneed will likely be a priority for the Chiefs to retain, but he would be the unquestioned No. 1 corner the Cardinals need. He plays with the same style that head coach Jonathan Gannon likes. Simply adding him to a room with the rookies they had playing last season — Garrett Williams, Kei’trel Clark, Starling Thomas and Divaad Wilson — makes the cornerback room look pretty solid.
LB Drue Tranquill
Tranquill has been a backup that got a lot of playing time because of injuries.
He has been a playmaker in the lineup. He will not command a big contract and would be a perfect pairing next to Kyzir White, matching physicality and athletictism.
DE Mike Danna
Danna had 6.5 sacks this season and started 16 games. The Cardinals need production and his size and strength on the edge.
