Saturday night’s AFC wild-card matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs is being exclusively broadcast on NBC’s Peacock streaming service.
If you’re an NFL fan and you don’t have Peacock, you can’t watch the game, as it won’t be on national television like the rest of the playoff action on wild-card weekend.
It’s a bold move by the NFL to not only air a game exclusively on a streaming service, but also to have the game itself be one of the more anticipated matchups of the entire weekend.
The Chiefs have been struggling offensively for much of the season, but they are the defending Super Bowl champions and have one of the league’s best quarterbacks under center in Patrick Mahomes.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins have been one of the league’s most prolific offenses thanks to the play of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, running back Raheem Mostert and former Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
It would be nice for this game to be nationally televised, and most NFL fans agree. Here are some of the best reactions to Saturday night’s playoff game being broadcast on a streaming service instead of national TV:
This is hell, although not as bad as trying to get your parent on Peacock to watch the NFL. pic.twitter.com/2AkVdM4BZ9

I know people are mad about the Peacock thing. And I know some people chose not to watch. And that's fine, I'm not defending it.

But if you *did* get Peacock just to watch this game, I do recommend Poker Face with Natasha Lyonne. Good show! No one paid me to say this.
NBC’s solution to helping all the boomers figure out where this Peacock thing lives is to “scan the QR code on your television screen”

There are thousands of people calling their kids right now, asking them "Which one is Peacock? Is that in my Netflix?" #ChiefsVsDolphins

Remember that it's not who wins or loses... it's reminding each other to cancel #Peacock in the morning. #MIAvsKC
