Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid admitted that he tries not to pay attention to the outside noise that the referees are tilting the calls in the Chiefs’ favor.
The noise from the accusations has grown louder throughout the playoffs with the Chiefs benefitting from multiple controversial calls in both postseason games against the Bills and Houston Texans.
One such call came on what looked like a clear fourth-down conversion on a sneak attempt in the fourth quarter by Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the AFC Championship Game. The call ended a potential touchdown drive for the Bills and set the Chiefs up with good field position to come away with seven points and take control of the game.
“Listen, I try not to pay attention to that stuff,” Reid said, when appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

NFL fans and even multiple former New England Patriots players called out the officiating on social media.
The Chiefs are on the verge of making history by winning a third straight Lombardi Trophy. They’ll be taking on the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
Here’s hoping for a great football game with as little involvement from the officiating as possible.
