A member of staff at a fried chicken shop was racially abused by a gang of yobs.
Merseyside Police received reports that a group of five male youths entered the premises of Red & Blue Fried Chicken on Stanley Road, Bootle at around 9.25pm on Sunday, July 24. It was reported they made threats and directed a racial slur towards a member of staff.
They were then reported to have left the premises on foot. No injuries or damage to the premises were reported, but anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact police.

Sefton Community Policing Sergeant Kris Allinson said: “Nobody should be subject to such vile behaviour in their place of work and we simply will not tolerate hate in our communities in Merseyside.
“If you were on Stanley Road yesterday evening and witnessed this incident then please let us know.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say we want victims of hate crime to come forward and report it – we will thoroughly investigate all reports of hate crime and take every incident extremely seriously.
“We have dedicated hate crime coordinators who will work with victims to get the right resolution and it is only through people telling us about incidents we can understand the extent, find those responsible and target our resources into those areas and at those times people tell us hate crimes are happening.”
