A convenience store sandwich sold across Georgia and Florida for about two weeks in late summer was recalled because egg appeared in the ingredient list but was missing from the allergen warning most families actually read.
FreshPoint of Orlando issued a voluntary recall of 1,093 units of Created Fresh! Cranberry Chicken Salad Wedge sandwiches, according to the company announcement posted by the Food and Drug Administration. The notice is dated September 4, and the FDA published it on September 8.
