Chick-fil-A prices in 2024

There was a time in the history of fast food when controversy began and ended with who had the best chicken sandwich. Now the average consumer who hasn't been through a drive through in a minute is more likely to have sticker shock at the checkout window.

McDonalds and others have made the headlines for steep price increases; though the house Ronald McDonald built is quick to push back and defend its pricing and that of its franchisees. Many fast food chains, McDonald's included, have even begun to offer special value items to bring lower income consumers back in the door.

But price hikes aren't limited to the larger, public chains.

We took a look at family-owned Chick-fil-A and compared the pricing of some of its most popular menu items with archived 2019 prices on FastFoodMenuprices.com.

You'll certainly pay a price for eating more chicken.

FULL VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW:

In 2019, the battle for the best chicken sandwich was the hot topic in fast food.

Now we’re more likely to complain about the price at the drive thru window.

Chick-fil-A may lessen the punch with its well-mannered employees.

But, like McDonalds and Burger King, it has steeply raised prices since then.

We compared 2024 prices with 2019 prices from fastfoodmenuprices.com and found….

The price of the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich jumped from $3.65 to $6.55.

8 Chick-fil-A nuggets went from $3.05 to $5.99.

4 Chick-n-Strips ticked up from $4.39 to $7.85.

A Medium Waffle Fries went from $1.65 to $2.99.

And a Large Milkshake that once cost $3.15 now runs $5.19.

All this inflation makes it hard to eat more chicken.
