Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order Wednesday that could prevent companies involved in President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement campaign from receiving city contracts, establishing new disclosure requirements covering government and law enforcement work, civil rights allegations and corporate conduct.
The order gives Chicago's chief procurement officer 90 days to develop rules requiring companies seeking city business to disclose whether they have received more than $500,000 from government entities or law enforcement agencies during the previous five years.
