A Chicago couple was brutally attacked by a mob of teenagers in the Streeterville area, resulting in devastating consequences. The husband and pregnant wife were subjected to a vicious assault, leading to the tragic loss of their baby. The incident unfolded as the couple was enjoying a date night in what is considered a safe neighborhood of Chicago.
Reports indicate that the group of teenagers targeted the couple without any apparent motive for robbery, instead resorting to violence. The pregnant woman was punched in the stomach, causing her to lose the baby, while both victims were also pepper-sprayed during the attack. The perpetrators, a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, were apprehended by the police but only charged with misdemeanor battery.
