Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine will undergo season-ending surgery on his right foot, leaving the franchise facing a series of significant questions in the lead-up to the NBA trade deadline and beyond. The decision for surgery was made after extensive consultations with outside medical professionals and in collaboration with LaVine's agency, Klutch Sports Group, as well as the Bulls' training and medical staff.
Expected to undergo surgery next week, LaVine will be sidelined for a period of four to six months. Bulls coach Billy Donovan expressed support for LaVine's decision, acknowledging that the player had done everything possible to return to the court. However, discomfort in his foot prevented him from performing at his best and contributing effectively to the team.
