Chicago Bulls Injury Report vs. Jazz: Alex Caruso, Patrick Williams probable, Ayo Dosunmu questionable

Ahead of the Chicago Bulls’ contest against the Utah Jazz on Monday night, three players outside of Lonzo Ball are listed on the injury report: Alex Caruso, Patrick Williams, and Ayo Dosunmu. Caruso and Williams are probable to play in the contest, while Dosunmu is listed as questionable.

Caruso’s injury designation is a right elbow strain, while Williams is dealing with a finger issue. As for Dosunmu, he is questionable to play due to illness. All three players have been a part of Chicago’s core rotation this season, so any absences from the bunch could see a shift in playing time for other guys.

Dosunmu has missed the Bulls’ last two games against the Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets.

Jevon Carter and Coby White would likely assume more minutes if Caruso and/or Dosunmu miss the game, while Torrey Craig would be most likely to fill in the gaps for Williams if he is out.

Williams has already been demoted to the bench in favor of Craig, but missing that extra depth at the forward position could lead to Billy Donovan testing out some of the youngsters, such as Julian Philips or Dalen Terry, in the rotation.

As the Bulls continue to push forward, missing guys from their rotation will only make life harder in regard to developing consistency and improving on both ends of the court.

Make sure to keep an eye on social media and the Bulls’ official Twitter account for updates on the game-time status of all three players.
