The Chicago Bulls are in a weird spot as a franchise. Two seasons ago, they broke their four-year playoff drought. But this past season, they missed the playoffs entirely, getting bounced in the play-in tournament.
They are stuck in the middle, which is arguably the worst place to be in the NBA, but Arturas Karnisovas is determined to push forward rather than tear the roster down.
In turn, adding more talent to the roster will be key. Chicago signed Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig in free agency, but there could be more moves on the way. At the very least, the Bulls are keeping an eye out for potential additions.
According to Daniel Greenberg on Twitter, the Bulls attended a private workout held in Las Vegas for Dion Waiters and Harry Giles III.

Waiters last appeared in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2019-20 season, when he won an NBA championship with them in The Bubble.
The last time he played in more than 40 games in a season was in 2018-19 when he was on the Miami Heat. He averaged 12 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 41.4% shooting from the field and 37.7% shooting from distance.
As for Giles, he last appeared in the league in the 2020-21 season as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. In 38 games, he averaged 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds on 43.3% shooting from the field and 34.8% shooting from behind the 3-point line.
Giles is 25 years old and eligible for a two-way contract, so should the Bulls show interest, he could be added to the roster that way.
